this has basically been my potision, I say pick a Bible that will work for you and go with it and there is no one best translation, they all have hits and misses but as you note, most are accurate to 99.99% and no choice of translation over another is enough to skew this or that doctrine as I like to charge: women in ministry can be preached from either the ESV or the TINV or the KJV or the NLT.
