Just harvested' an old worm bin and set it up as a sttearr worm bin. I used the instructions here, but I added some left over vermicast and some mature worms (perionyx excavatus) around 40-60.The worm bedding includes coco coir and coco coir dust sprinkled with nitrogen fixing bacteria from aquarium. I expect to see worm castings a month from now as I also included some kitchen waste approximately 400-600 grams. The kitchen wastes are mostly Avocado seed and peelings, Banana Peelings, some rice, rambotan peelings and some vegetable leaves.
